Spring Clean
PURPOSE:
Helping our clients maintain their homes is an essential part to helping them
stay living at home and connected to their community. The Spring Cleaning
service assists clients to domestically clean the parts of the home that are
more difficult to clean in order to maintain a safe and habitable environment.
OBSERVATIONS:
• Client expresses
concern that they are
not able to clean their
home as thoroughly as
they want to • Client has limited
mobility and finds it
difficult to clean out-ofreach areas • Client’s informal carer is
temporarily unavailable
or no longer able to
assist in the short term
or permanently • It is observed that the
home needs a spring
clean • Client has spring
cleaning tasks as one of
their reablement goals • The client expresses
that the DA service they
are receiving are not
meeting their needs
